MICROBLADING, MICROSHADING
Microblading is a cutting edge method of permanent makeup designed to enhance the eyebrows. It is one of the most popular beauty treatments today thanks to the range of benefits it provides to the clients. It is a hyperrealistic technique of drawing eyebrows manually using micro blade.
Our eyebrows are also a powerful weapon in nonverbal communication. With their color, shape, and position on the face, our eyebrows give a positive and strong character to the person who wears them. In addition to character, properly drawn eyebrows make a person undoubtedly more attractive.
Besides saving you time for drawing eyebrows every day, Microblading treatment has a strong impact on self-esteem in various situations when the make-up can be erased. In the rain, at the seaside, during exercising: clients who use Microblading technique never have to fear that their makeup will melt off. With only one treatment, clients get eyebrows that last between one and two years.
If you have sparse brows or no longer want to pencil your brows in every day then this treatment is perfect for you. Microblading is the most natural form of semi permanent make up for the brows. Hair strokes are created using a micro blade creating the perfect brow for you.
The brows are measured to your face using a compass based on the golden ratio.
We use Phi pigments that are colour matched to your brow hair so after healed the bladed strokes will blend in with your natural hair.
(Please note! Patch test required prior the treatment)
WHAT TO EXPECT?
STEP 1
CONSULTATION
Welcome at SB STUDIO! We will meet you in person to get to know you and your brow style. We`ll examine your eyebrow shape and ask few questions about your daily eyebrow/make up routine. We`ll also discuss the shape preferences and brow pigment colour and perform a skin test.
STEP 2
BROW MAPPING
Using our measuring tools and golden ratio we`ll custom design a brow outline that`s best proportioned to your facial features. At this point we may ask you to smile, frown, talk and laugh so we can see how your mimic muscles move. We`ll both review the design and make any adjustments necessary. Once the borws are approved, we`ll clean up the shape and begin!
STEP 3
MICROBLADING
Your brows are ready to begin their transformation. This is where we draw each individual hair by inserting pigment in the uppermost layer of the skin using a tiny handheld tool with a blade made of microneedles. We only use sterile and disposable tools and are compliant with all regulations. Each brow design is unique in the sense that no two natural eyebrows are the exatly same. Our shapes will be as symmetrical as they can be for your face, but to achieve the most natural look, the hair strokes may vary slightly per brow.
STEP 4
AFTERCARE
All done and ready to show off your brows. We will review aftercare instructions with you and provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you`ll need for the initial healing period of 7-10 days. It is vital that you adhere to the aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and retention for your brows. We woudn`t want to waste all that time and TLC we just invested into them!

STAGES OF THE HEALING PROCESS
WHAT IS MICROSHADING?
Microshading is a gentler version of microblading, the semi-permanent makeup
technique for sparse, light-colored or over-plucked brows. Unlike microblading,
microshading fills in thin brows with small dots rather than natural hair strokes,
which is safer for sensitive or oily skin.
If you’ve always dreamed of picture-perfect brows but have ruled out
microblading for its incompatibility for sensitive or oily skin, then you might
want to give microshading the technique’s softer, gentler sibling a go.
Microshading uses a stippling method as opposed to hair stroke pigmentation in microblading. It creates a denser, thicker brow, using dots of pigment instead of strokes, and the results resemble perfectly-applied eyebrow powder.
Skin type isn’t the only factor when considering permanent brow technique: there is the aesthetic aspect. Microshading is recommended for people who just want a little extra oomph, as opposed to a total brow makeover.
The small, pin-point dots in microshading are subtler and not suited for making big adjustments to shape. Because of its signature gradient appearance, microshading is often referred to as “ombré brows” or “powder fill brows.”
These techniques are best for individuals who want a natural-looking but well-defined eyebrow which they don’t have to recreate each morning with makeup.
Preparation, Aftercare and contraindications are the same as for microblading above.

How do you match the colour of the hair? Our pigments are of the highest quality and are pre-mixed to match every type of hair colour. We can mix in additional pigment colour to match each individual client. We take into concideration your natural skin colour, hair colour and eye colour. A soft, natural colour is always preferred.
-
Is it permanent? The treatment deposits color pigment into the uppmost layer of the skin and is concidered permanent because it cannot be washed off. Unlike traditional tattoos performed on the body, we do not use traditional tattoo ink. These pigments are mosre delicate and designed to work with skins undertones and mimic hair. Every persons skin is different regarding pigment retention. The pigment will fade but unlikely to disappier completely.
